Volunteering

Volunteering is a great way to show your support for Yuma’s homeless animals. There are a variety of ways to help, from working with the animals to assisting us in raising money.

Orientation

Volunteer orientations are held on the first Thursday of the month. The next volunteer orientation will be at the Main Library on February 2, at 4pm.

Age requirements

Volunteers must be 14 years or older.

Youths ages 14-15:

• Must attend orientation with a parent or guardian.
• Must be supervised by parent or guardian at all times when volunteering.

• Do not require parent supervision, but must have parent/guardian permission. 
• Parent/guardian signature required on volunteer application
