Volunteering
Welcome!
Thank you for your interest in volunteering with the Humane Society of Yuma (HSOY). We cared for an average of 6,092 abandoned animals in 2021, all of which would not be possible without the dedication and passion of our volunteers. We are grateful for the enthusiasm our volunteers bring to the organization and their willingness to share their experience with us daily.
We have several opportunities available for prospective volunteers to become involved and make a difference with the animals. You can work directly with the animals at our shelter or one of our offsite locations, there are also volunteer opportunities available within various departments assisting staff and management with daily operations.
Volunteer ages are 12 years old to 15 years old to volunteer with a parent/guardian. You can volunteer independently at the shelter if you are 16 years of age or older. ALL volunteers at our Petsmart Everyday Adoption Center MUST be 18 years of age or older.
If you are a current or pending volunteer with HSOY please log in here.
